Marketplace rule - You must mention if there is a COA or original media for an upgraded OS offered with this laptop, and you must mention the licensing/media for any additional software offered.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there is any OS/software offered in the first place. The original Thinkpad 240 came with Windows 98 and a recovery CD with it (I am fairly certain). I got one, and I was fortunate that Windows 2000 came along at the same time as the TP 240 did, and it runs Windows 2000 just fine (but that is not the original OS). ... JDH
