I want to trade my ThinkPad T61 model 7658-18U (and some money) for a similar model with dedicated graphics or for an X60 or X61. I don't have a digital camera, but can say that this machine is in gorgeous condition, wih almost no shine on the KB (tiny bit on the space bar) and no dents, scratches or other physical signs of wear beyond the usual lid marks from putting it into a bag. Here are the specs.
T61 14" Widescreen model 7658-18U
T7500 Core2Duo CPU at 2.2 GHz with 4 MB cache
1GB PC2 5300 RAM
160 GB 5400 RPM hard drive
14.1" WXGA 1280X800 matte widescreen display
Intel GMA X3100 integrated graphics
Intel 4965 AGN wifi
4 cell battery at full capacity and under 10 cycles
Windows XP Professional installed with COA on the laptop, no media or restore partition
Bluetooth
Fingerprint reader
DVDRW dual layer drive
Weight 5 lbs with 4 cell
WARRANTY UNTIL JUNE 10 2009, CAN BE UPGRADED
I want to trade it for a T, R or W series ThinkPad with Core2Duo or Celeron processor (must be 64-bit) and dedicated graphics. I don't care about screen size or density too much, just want to play a few games that the integrated won't quite manage, but that are modest on CPU requirements. I play these games on my MacBook Pro right now, but would like to play them on the ThinkPad too. I would also consider an X60 or X61
I bought this ThinkPad on the forum a few weeks ago and am delighted with the hardware, but the seller's deception left a bad taste in my mouth, which is the main reason for my wanting to trade. This machine is immaculate, I was just lied to regarding included software. The machine comes with Windows XP Professional XP installed and fully patched, with the original Microsoft COA on the bottom that came with the computer from Lenovo.
This is a VERY nice ThinkPad nad should go to someone who will enjoy it. I would, if not for the previous seller.
I am willing to spend up to $200 in addition to the T61 depending on what you are trading.
