This is the IBM favorite 14.1" XSGA T41Thinkpad. It had Windows XP Pro with all COA stickers.
It comes clean inside and out and ready to use out the box. I bought this laptop in brand new condition in Fall 2006 and used it very sparingly over the years (since I have a computer at work and a more powerful desktop at home).
It is still in top condition for both the hardware and software and comes with extras. I've upgraded the original 40GB5400RPM HD to the revered favorite Hitachi Travelstar 100GB7200RPM. You will get both the upgraded HD as well as the original HD that I've safely stored in a USB 2.0 high speed Aluminum case. The case is very high tech and exudes quality with LED indicators and an On/Off button. I also upgraded the RAM to OEM 2GB specs using OEM IBM chips.
I bought a brand new 9 cell battery from IBM that was barely used and will include it for free along with the original 6 cell battery.
Apart from the hardware upgrades, this T41 is loaded with software such as Nero, Office2007, WordPerfect11, PowerDVD, Acronis TrueImage, and the ultra cool TVU Media Player that allows you to watch live TV, Cable, Sports, News from various countries across the planet. I used the software to watch News and Soccer in Europe and South America.
Other extras will included a 4in1 Media SD Card Reader, a Zoom Bluetooth PC Card attachment that will allow you to actually use Bluetooth in ways the older OEM Bluetooth did not. You will also get a wired Belkin mouse and a 4 port self powered high speed USB hub. All extras are in clean, working and in like new condition (be sure to scroll all the way down and look at all the extra large pictures).
The notebook is clean inside and out and has avoided drops, bangs, spills, scrapes and other physical abuse as well as viruses and software glitches. It will be ready to use once you receive it.
