Hi there, got a t22 for sale here.
model number: 2647 9EU
PIII 1.0GHz (256KB)
128MB RAM Upgraded to 256MB RAM
32.0GB HDD Works great
14.1 SXGA+(1400x1050) TFT LCD still works, with few pressure marks, a little bit reddish when first turned on but returns to normal very quicly.
8x-2.3x DVD Works great
Li-Ion battery Doesn't hold charge anymore
Win2000 COA sticker intact, NO Recovery CD included.
This T22 still works great with the following known problems:
* Casing is in rough conditon
* broken keyboard bezel (common problem with t2X)
* keyboard missing couple keys.
* dead battery
* left screen latch is broken, but still works with the right latch.
No power adapter will be included.

The price is nice, but any prospective buyer should be aware that the reddish hue on the display means that a backlight replacement (a procedure not for those faint of heart) is only months away.renhui wrote:Hi there, got a t22 for sale here.

Re: FS: Working T22 for parts or repair (PIII-1G/SXGA+/30G)
A dissenting experience
... My usual T23 (also SXGA+) has had a pink display at power up for over 2 1/2 years (Sept 2006) and it's been in constant daily use with only a slight degradation of brightness since then. So, YMMV.

Fair enough, so allow me to rephrase:

Re: FS: Working T22 for parts or repair (PIII-1G/SXGA+/30G)
I'll be very honest so that you can save your time.
I had the exact same T22 with the same problem.
I bought a backlight, but it turns out that the SXGA LCD is much harder to repair than a regular T2x XGA LCD ( I still have the ruined LCD carcass and the unused backlight, the latter is available as a FS thread in this Forum. )
I then found a mint T23 XGA LCD complete panel and replaced the dead SXGA LCD (much easier).
A couple of years later (a couple of months ago), I sold it on ebay with 512mb memory, 32gb high speed HD, 2 extra batteries, plus an ultrabay battery, ultrabay DVD, ultrabay floppy, with WinXP installed, and after a week ended up at $65 - clearly less than what the batteries and memory and HD would have sold for separately.
My conclusion: T20, T21 or T22 should be broken up into individual working parts and sold separately, you'll get much more.
