In an effort to raise a little money for a new toy I am going to sell my Axim X30 w/ Bluetooth, Wifi, irda, Belkin leather case (brown), and an extra battery.
The axim has been gingerly taken care of and has had a screen protector on since day one. It has slight wear around the corners of the unit and on the backs of the battery. In the port for the charging/syncing cable there is one wire that looks loose. I don't know how that came off but can only guess the syncing cable must have dislodged it. Regardless it works/syncs fine when I use my sisters cable and it charges just fine with my own. If a cable or cradle is needed I would suggest e$ay. If you want my cable I'll throw that in (I just think a new one would be better). Syncing via Bluetooth and Infrared are additional methods.
My sync cable= will charge; won't sync
When I borrow my sisters= will sync and charge!
Sync Cables from Fleabay
Charging w/ my cable.
Connected to computer via good cable.
The axim is still under an aftermarket warranty- good until Jan 30 2010. Title of the warranty is transferable
I just feel I'm ready to move on and would whole-heartedly recommend this little wonder to any one that is curious about a personal pocket computer
I also would like to mention there are keyboards and thumboards available for this device. I personally have a keyboard that snaps into the serial port. I'm keeping it for now but may change my mind later.
Screenshots of Various Programs on PDA.
Note: on the Belkins case there is little wear on the clasp. Just small scuff marks is all. I also had a new LCD put in back in February by my seller. The new LCD should last many many years to come! Also doesn't have the manual/instruction guide. The manual can be downloaded from the net in PDF form. There are also forums to help you out if you have any questions or need assistance with the PDA!
I'm asking for a price of $80 shipped. Thank you.
Edit: there was a stray or piece of wire in the serial port. That came out with a little prodding and with a visual inspection I am thinking it may have come from the serial cable. I am not sure. Everything tests okay afterwards. The Axim still connects via Activesync on Windows XP and is recognized by the computer. It also still charges. The picture "Connected to computer via good cable" was taken today after the stray wire dislodged.
