How is the actual state of the UXGA screen?
Could you document it with some HQ photos showing the screen with black and also white background?

No dead pixel, no scratch, no pressure mark, no leak of light, no uneven brightness, no dark corner. It is flawless as one would expect a top quality screen from a brand new machine.

My camera can't automatically focus on pure back or white background. So I took two pictures of boot up screen.

In addition,
1. if you notice some tiny white dots in the pictures, they are simply dusts on screen (not in screen, nor dead pixel), or on your screen!
2. if you notice faint shade in the screen, it is simply because my camera captured the reflective effect of the screen. The screen doesn't have any shade.
3. My camera focused on the left part of the screen (i.e. 'T' in ThinkPad logo), so the intel and lenovo logos on the right are slightly indistinct. You should expect the left part to represent the quality of the entire screen, but not the off-focussed part on the right side.
