8 ) I have up for sale a Lenovo Thinkpad X200s, model number 7466-3hu. I have upgraded the original 160GB 7200rpm HDD with a Samsung 128GB SSD, model number MMDOE28G5MPP-OVA. I also performed a clean install of Vista Business 64bit, fully activated with all drivers. Boot time is around 30 seconds, and shutdown time is 5 seconds. Overall response of the laptop is very snappy. Programs open up instantly.

I have all original accessories (including original Vista Recovery Discs, AC adapter, and manuals), as well as the original box to include with the sale. The machine never left my home, and was used once in a while for web surfing. I usually get 6 to 7 hours out of the machine.

BONUS: I will be able to install your desired OS, including Vista 32bit or 64bit, or XP. Just tell me your preference when you purchase the laptop. The laptop has license to use all three OS's (not at the same time though :p)

I would like to buy the XP restore discs (or a copy would be fine too) to "downgrade" my X200s to XP. I assume you'd like to include the originals in the sale of the laptop, but would you take $10 for a copy of them? (No licensing issue here, since I have a legal right to the downgrade by virtue of having Vista Biz, just don't have the actual media).

Just realize that I only have Vista Recovery Discs, and not XP. Sorry for the confusion

This looks like a laptop I may want to buy, but may I ask (1) the history of the item: is this a laptop you bought for your own use, or did you get it from elsewhere? what's the reason for sale?, and (2) what guarantees do I have as a buyer that the transaction would go well?
