I have for sale a new T500. Has been taken out of the box and booted up. 2 cycles on battery. Have decided to go down to T400 for better battery life. As it is the T500 get about 8 hrs. If you need other information please contact. Will ship in Lenovo box with all that came with computer. I also have the Windows XP downgrade disk.

Would look at a trade for a similar t400 or equivalent

Where did you buy it? Can't you simply return it to Lenovo Canada for a full refund? In the US, they became more difficult about returns (as Lenovo US offers lower prices), but aren't they still lenient in Canada about returns?

Lenovo Canada will not take the machine back for refund once the box has been open. I had a huge argument with them on the phone but they would not do anything.

My fault really for not looking into thinks more.
