I have been out of the loop for a while so don't know where things are nowadays. Please help me price the following machine:

Condition:
There is some shine on the keyboard and touchpad. Top has some superficial scratches, typical of a laptop bag use.

Edit: Laptop is on sale now. The LCD looked slightly dim and had one spot of discoloration so the LCD, LCD light and cable has been replaced under warranty.

Given other examples on the board, asking $425 plus actual shipping. Payment through Paypal, personal or cashier's check will get shared shipping expenses.

I believe that you've meant Core Duo and not Core 2 Duo...

Having said that, if this machine were mine, I would be looking for $400, give or take a few bucks depending on the exact condition...

It's worth what someone is prepared to pay you for it. Check the "Completed Items" on e-bay for what people are buying them for.

Yep, it's been a while

Does the screen have any imperfections. Alas, many do. But the good thing about this one is that with the ThinkPlus Protection in force for it, if the screen has any pressure marks, the owner is entitled to a serviceable used part replacement for it (and hope that the used replacement part is bright and flawless). That's not the case with the EZServ warranty.

So the EasyServ warranty won't replace a display that develops defects such as this? That's interesting.

Judy, from the first inspection the LCD looked good but I will double check again. In the past I have had the LCD used serviceable part replaced because I didn't like the replacement LCD that they put on. So I think it all depends on who one gets to deal with in the second call.

Keith, in my experience only very drastic LCD keyboard pressure marks are frowned upon otherwise light keyboard pressure marks are covered under EZServ.
