Lenovo ThinkPad X200 Tablet PC 7449EKU Intel Core 2 Duo SL9400 1.86ghz 4GB Ram w/ UltraBase dock and blu-ray burner

I posted this on the lenovo.com forum and it was recommended that I post here. I apologize in advance if I'm breaking some rules. :)

Anyways. I recently acquired this Lenovo laptop from someone on craigslist in a trade (yes people do some wild trades on craigslist). I was looking for a high-end laptop that would work for video editing. This laptop in particular will probably get the job done, but ultimately I think I might be better off with a machine specifically geared for that purpose. This machine is fantastic, but is clearly built for the business community and has all sorts of bells and whistles that will likely just be wasted by me. So... I stuck it on ebay. I checked the lenovo website for warranty information on the machine and it's under warranty until 2012. it comes with the docking base and has a blu-ray burner installed. I tested it out, everything seems to be in perfect working condition. The gentleman I acquired it from gave me a stack of restore cds and driver cds that he created and had the machine restored to factory settings before giving it to me. He gave me two chargers as well. I did not, however, receive any manuals or the packaging it came in.

You can check out my ebay posting here (with pics, specs and a lot more info): http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0342459868

It should list all of the specs included (let me know if I'm missing something major in the description). As I said in the lenovo forum... this machine is definitely fantastic. It can fit my needs, but it might fit another person's needs better. However, if I don't end up selling it and have to use it, I'm not going to be too disappointed. :)

Thanks for your time.

The ebay auction ends tomorrow, btw. I had to set it up as a 3 day auction, because I'm leaving town for two weeks on Monday afternoon. I figured if someone wins the auction and I receive the payment by Friday, I can have it shipped out on Friday.... Monday morning at the absolute latest. :)

5 hours left in the auction. 7 people "watching" it, but no bids. Don't know what to make of that. Anyways... assuming it doesn't sell on ebay in the next 5 hours, feel free to pm me if you're interested in buying it. Haha

High starting bids are a guarantee to not get bidders, MAYBE a single sniper, just FYI. Generally better to put it on for $1 and get people thinking they're going to get a bargain ("bidding madness")

True Dan. I'll probably do a new auction in a couple weeks when I get back in town with a lower starting bid. I had to set it as a 3 day auction, because I'm leaving Monday and in the event someone wanted it, I needed to have it shipped out by early Monday. That was my reasoning for setting the opening bid price at what I figured it likely would go for.

Btw you might be right about the "Snipers" thing. It shows that several people are watching the auction. I guess there is a possibility that one of them is waiting until the final seconds to "steal" it for $1799. I wasn't really sure what these go for when "used". It's still under warranty until 2012, and if you go to lenovo.com and try to build this machine with all of the upgrades, it's roughly 3 grand (maxed ram, faster processor, faster drive... but mainly the fact that it comes with the ultrabase docking station ($200ish) and the blu-ray burner which is another $300-$500 ...

any tablet with high configuration will be hard to sell out.
Because person who looking for a deal normally is tight on budget.they maybe interested, but not willing to pay over $1500 for a laptop.
for some rich guys, they don't care the price and hate to take risk for a second hand merchandise ,so they will buy directly from official website.
That's why they just watch.
no offense,
Good luck on this machine.

I have re-listed it as a 1 day auction with a starting price of $1500. I need to have this shipped by Monday morning, because I'm flying out of town for two weeks. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0343847681

$1500 seems reasonable for a system that costs around $2900 new (including Lenovo.com's "sale" prices). :)
