Selling my beloved T61 simply because I just bought an ultraportable. No need to keep two.

Newly installed Brand New NMB Keyboard and Palm Rest w/ touchpad (has tricolor "IBM" logo)

Also included:
* Manual/Instructions
* Rescue & Recovery Disks
* Screw kit
* Spare palm rest (the one that has been replaced by the brand new one due to minor button problem)

Bought in August 2007. Because of the extreme care (e.g. bottom never touched surface except two paper "feet") and the new keyboard & palm rest, the entire machine is MINT/PRISTINE. No scratch, stain, break, crack, no hardware/software problems. Only carried out once. Battery almost never used. Perfect 4:3 screen with no dead pixel.

The credit card company's extended warranty covers it until mid-August 2009. I just used that warranty to replace the keyboard and the palm rest.

I think not since it's my cc, but I can make all the transactions for the new owner. The procedure is routine. Whatever replacement cost will be charged on my cc then reimbursed after the receipt/invoice is submitted.
P.S. cc extended warranty should expire mid August, more than a month away, in case of any problem (highly unlikely).

Just a note: the current price will not last long. It will not be sold lower than this. Either the price will go back UP or I'll keep it as a backup computer. It is a flawless laptop that even the sight of it makes one happy

OK, note new, lower price. Just because I find myself on the go all the time with my ultraportable and really have no use of a second laptop.

I doubt you can get a used T61 (4:3) in this immaculate condition for this price anywhere else.

Perhaps because I don't have paypal? It is truly flawless and in MINT condition. I am not exaggerating at all. Hope someone can drop by to see, test and confirm it.

Honestly I started to think this price is too low, as this T61 has proved to be more reliable and have better build quality than either of my other two newly bought thinkpads (ultraportable).

If it wasn't the XGA screen I'll be all over this sweet-thing.
