UPDATE: Remember in The Blues Brothers where Elwood points to a large aerosol can he had previously swiped from a: service station and Elwood says "This is glue.... s-t-r-o-n-g stuff!"? Then Elwood procedes to spray the underside of the gas peddle inside the travel home (the travel home belonging to The Good Ole Boys)? Well that same aerosol glue was what I took for light damage on these Thinkpads. They are not damaged at all... just covered in adhesive (strong stuff!) which I removed with a double secret solvent.

I bought a whole stack of 15" R51's, most which will just go to waste because I am only using certain parts. Even though all these parts are from R51's, I know a lot of these parts can be used for other 15" machines and, in some cases, 14" machines. Here's what I have:

R51 15" screens complete with lid/hinges/antennas (cond vary, best cond go 1st)... $30 each
All the screws out of two machines (which should easily make one set plus) $4
R51 15" bezels w/touchpads..................................................................$9
R51 15" dvd and hard drive cages.............................................$4

I can also sell a few of these as I received them as near complete working 15" R51 1.6Ghz

*There are also a lot of small parts not listed (like the special connectors that extend the DVD). Let me know what you need and I will throw those in the box too (for free).
**Will trade in your favor for T4?/R5? Keyboards, hard drives and DVD players.

Please post back if they are ATI or Intel GPU machines. If both, is there the option of a choice for the near complete machines? Even better, exact 7 character model numbers would help so we can determine the CPU and LCD resolution.

PM sent for a near-complete unit with Intel GPU. Does anybody know if a 15" R51 lid would work with a 15" T42 base? If Yes, I might be interested in a lid/screen also. Lastly, is shipping included in the above prices?

The entire R51 lid/assembly won't work on a T4x base, however, the LCD panel and inverter (maybe the cable?) will work with the correct LCD cover, hinges, bezel, etc.
