C'mon somebody... for just $937 shipped, you could buy a new W500 upgraded with high-end specs either through a discount program or at the lenovo outlet, like for example this one.

Not to interrupt your vacation, but if you don't need the extra getty up of the Core Duo or 2, the T43 might be worth a look if you just doing Office/Internet/E-Mail, etc. and can find a good one, which do occasionally come up here. A nice machine with maybe a 1.7 or 1.8GHz Pentium M to help keep a lid on the fan noise. Plus the T43 is less prone to the GPU issue.

I just got a T60 on ebay that is in mint condition with warranty left. It is a 14.1" screen, but the seller still posts some of the same for sale, and I am extremely pleased with mine. Send me a PM if you want the ebay users ID. THanks
