FS: Tablet Pens - $22 shipped

I purchased some used IBM tablet pens and offer them for sale here on the forum. They all have the clip that holds them in a pocket broken off. The 'eraser' tip and 'selection button' are both intact and work fine. I have tested them and will guarantee they work as they should.

They were advertised as IBM X60/X61 pens but work fine in my X41t. They fit in my X41t slot but the eraser part sticks out. There is no evident FRU number so I can't tell what they really are. If anyone has any insight into this, I'd welcome the information.

If you are outside of the USA, please add $8 more for shipping. Thanks.

if these are the pens i think, I might be interested in one.. the solution I found for a friend who got an x41t and used a x60/61t pen was to take an xacto blade and cleanly remove the little tab that pokes down on the inside of the pen clip, and it'll work as a proper x41t pen, even latch where it belongs- had to disassemble the mechanism to tell this without suitable original pen to go on, but it fits perfect and flush with the side.

Sold two - still have some more left. This is the best price I can do so if anyone is interested in a good, working pen, let me know. These go for over $30 on eBay.

Just wanted to say that I bought two of these and they're great - using them in the external pen holder on the X61T cases so the missing clip isn't really a problem at all. They don't stay in the internal pen cavity but I don't ned them to. $22 was a great price for a spare pen.

Thanks

I don't know - but if the Transnote works on the same principle as the Wacom screens, I would think it would.

Here's a link with info on the Transnote - http://www.pencomputing.com/frames/ibm_transnote.html -- maybe you can find something there.

Transnotes are old and slow. X41 Tablets are going for $200 and up and might be worth investigating. I am in the process of testing some of these if you are interested.
