I have a tested and working 100% (no bad sectors) 40GB Hitachi Travelstar 2'5" IDE 5400rpm laptop hard drive. It will work in any Thinkpad requiring an IDE hard drive. It is a genuine IBM FRU # 39T2521. Manufacturer date is 10SEPT05. Works in a T43 without the 2010 code.
