**SOLD**: R60e (Trackpoint only) now $200 shipped

#1 Post by spuddog » Thu Jul 30, 2009 8:34 am

I completed the build-up of my T60 project and am selling my R60e. Type 0657-CTO, serial can be provided to interested buyers, no warranty (I will personally guarantee against DOA or other defects. It can be returned within 7 days for refund.) The MAC address for the wireless does not match the outside sticker because I have replaced the wireless card.

Overall the machine is in very good shape, no broken plastics, keyboard has minimal shine, no major scratches on outside (normal wear and tear). Included is a IBM logo sleeve. It will be shipped in original carton with some original documents. Palmrest has a couple of light spots were there were stickers. This is an Trackpoint only machine. This machine does not have a touch pad, and you can’t put one on because it does not have a connector on the motherboard.

Price $200.00 USD.
Shipping is free in the US.
Canada add the actual cost (you chose how it is shipped), you are responsible for fees and tariffs.
Anywhere else we can discuss it.

Questions? PM or Email me (smcbride2005 at gmail dot com)

Processor Intel Celeron M Processor 420 (1.6 GHz) the machine has a REV 3 motherboard so it can be upgraded to at least a CoreDuo processor (I had a t2500 in it)

Memory 1 GB (2-512 modules)

Hard Drive 80 GB 5400 rpm (Seagate)

LCD 15 inch XGA (no visible defects)

Battery 6 cell (Remaining capacity 33.23, 336 cycles)

Optical drive DVD-Rom fru#39T2665 (This is not ordinarily removable, but can be removed if you are careful)

Wireless Atheros AR5BXB6 ABG card

Operating System XP home installed (Has COA for XP Home ) It has Avira antivirus, Spybot, and Open Office.

AC Adapter Original IBM 65w 20v

Ultranav is the word for a combined Trackpoint and Touchpad.
Your machine only has a Trackpoint, but no touchpad, it therefore has NO Ultranav!
Perhaps you should change the title to "Trackpoint only"?

Any warranty?

Does anyone know if it is possible to solder the connector on the motherboard for the ultranav?

I am guessing it has the GMA950 graphics card?

No warranty, Yes 950.

As far as soldering on a connector, I doubt that even if you could find the correct one it would be very difficult to do. That is assuming that the functionality was not crippled elsewhere.

That is insane. I was very close to PM'ing. That's a great, simple, fast machine. Very little to go wrong.

He already has one lined up...

Or he wouldn't deserve to be the friendly FlexView farmer, would he now... :)
