before having to spend 30 bucks on ebay i'll check here first.
or does lenovo send them out for free now?

If I remember correctly, last time I checked out with them, we have to pay $20 (incl. shipping) to get the recovery cd and the machine has to be in warranty.

and if its out of warranty, i believe its around $40~45.
