Works in T40 and R50 (others too, I think). I pulled this from a machine that was working just fine, except the system would constantly blue screen. The T40 recognized the memory just fine, and passed POST with no memory issues. But for some reason, Windows XP didn't like the memory.

It's an IBM part. Postage to CONUS only. Paypal please.

If you have a problem with it, I'll refund the $, no problem.

After you pulled the RAM did the system run OK? Was XP stable? I need some extra RAM for an older T40 but don't need any other problems.

Yes, the system did run fine with other memory installed. The system never reported a problem, just XP.

I received the 1 Gb RAM memory today. Thanks for the quick service, unfortunetely it wouldn't boot to XP desktop in either my X40 or T40. The BIOS saw the memory but NG.
