I have a genuine IBM FRU# 40E8996 pulled from a T43 for sale. It is a 1GB stick of Kingston PC2-4200. Fully tested and guaranteed to work in any Thinkpad requiring PC2-4200 RAM. The Kingston Part# is KTM-TP3840/1G

You meant "pulled out of a T42", right?

Thanks for the correction George, I had too many machine parts flying around today. It is indeed from a T43 and is PC2-4200.
