SOLD: T40 plastics and screen in good shape

Hello lovely ThinkPad forummers,

My ThinkPad T40 finally bit the dust a few months ago when I tried to repair the GPU. I applied too much heat with the hot air gun.

So I've removed the hard drive, and the motherboard is suspect. You might want to buy these parts:

• The palmrest and touchpad, $10
• The Mini-PCI modem daughter card FRU 91P7657, $10
• The fan, $10
• The screen, which I believe works fine. XGA, $50

If you buy the screen, I will be thrilled! (-:

If anything you receive does not work, you will be entitled to a refund; I believe everything is in working shape. I hope I can find homes for the parts of this ThinkPad! Make me an offer, and I'll probably accept it. Any offer you make means I don't have to carry this laptop with me when I move.
