I just got the "BAD CMOS CHECKSUM" error message. In the past, I've noticed that rebooting will be slow, with a long period of black screen before I get the Windows splash screen. I've noticed some of my customized boot order settings returning to defaults after such an episode.

Anybody have a new and fresh CMOS battery for the T42 128 MB FireGL motherboard that I can pop in?

^ Thanks for that. Some appear to be OEM too, which is a bit of a surprise for eBay.
