LF: T43 motherboard

Hi

I might be looking for a T43/R52 motherboard*. Any spec considered, ATI or Intel graphics is OK as long as it can drive a SXGA+ LCD (I think all can).

I just tried out a T43 Intel graphics MB with an SXGA+ and it would not work. It worked fine with XGA. This is a known limitation I believe. There are supposedly R52 Intels that will do XGA, though. It's a BIOS limitation or somesuch.

The R52 Intel mobos will do XGA and SXGA+, the T43 Intels can only do XGA.
If you want a T43 mobo for SXGA+, you will need (any) ATI GPU on it.

If you have a 14" SXGA+ unit, you need an ATi-based board.

15" SXGA+ will be driven by an Intel-based board.

I should have been clearer

It is for a 15" SXGA+. I'll wait to see what the exact problem is before I go any further.
