#1 Post by dwallace » Sun Aug 30, 2009 2:49 pm

Y'all,

Top-condition T40 (2374) SN-99-KABT5 Built 04/03 -- with XGA, WirelessB card and 512kb. No bad pixels, CD/RW-DVD drive (with carry case), AC adapter and choice of battery. Loaded with XPPro, Kaspersky anti-virus or can be wiped to original condition. Will include IBM recovery disks/manuals.

Please let me know if you'd prefer a 6-cell or 9-cell (I have both - used, more details if you'd like) And please include your zipcode for shipping.

Thanks
David

As per forum rules you must post an asking price...

Best of luck with the sale.

Re: FS: T40 w/ 6- or 9-cell - Also a WTB

All offers considered - and here's another idea . . .

Anyone in the Boston-area have a b/g wireless card? Can the T40 handle a 54Mbps signal?
Maybe the thing is to update the WiFi and increase the memory.

Thanks
DW

Thanks George,

I've seen a few messages about the 1802 conflict when replacing wireless cards -- what model do you suggest for the upgrade? Any for sale in your parts bin?

As for selling the Beast, I'd like to get $150 for it (there seem to be several on offer via Craigslist/Boston for $200-225). Dunno if having battery options is a selling point but I'd include 6 AND 9-cell if that helps make it go. No mechanical or cosmetic flaws with the machine -- heck, it was bought off this board so it's like a return trip.

Best

Dave,

If you want $150 for it then you should change the original post to reflect that.

If I would offer you $100 now, and your post says $100 then I believe you would have to sell it for $100...........

Just anticipatiing what if scenerarios, that's all..
