I've found that it boots correctly most of the time, but as advertised it occasionally exhibits the GPU failure quirks. I put a Seagate ST980815A 80 gig 5400 RPM hard drive in it and loaded XP and all the drivers. But it's in desk mode here so I expect with movement your chances of seeing the GPU foolishness would dramatically increase. The case is in very good shape
The screen is in very good shape
CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive, 1.6ghz. Pentium M
512 megs of RAM
WiFi Card
HD Caddy (no HDD)
Power Supply
Display does work if you press on the GPU unit upon start up
- Bluetooth doesn't work, not sure why. Card is correct.
- There's a lighter smudge on the screen that's only noticeable on a dark background. Located on the international date line below Alaska on the IBM wallpaper. No dead pixels.
- battery will give you an hour or so - 56% wear factor
Without the Hard drive I'll let it go for $70 shipped
With the hard drive $100
Will ship in US, slow and cheap unless you pay more.
Any questions just send me a PM.
Thanks, David
I'll take pay pal.
