WILL TRADE: T43p w new 15" UXGA for X series

I would like to trade my T43p P2.0 15" UXGA Flexview (screen is new) for a smaller, lighter X series Thinkpad. If you read through the many comments on this board, you will see that this is a highly respectable Thinkpad model, and if 15" is your preference, T43p UXGA is definitely one of the best. I need a more portable machine, I have several T43 14" models but want to get back to an X series for running around town, country, world etc. The 15" is way beyond what I want to be lugging around. I hate to see it go, it's been fun to have, but not practical for me. I need to be traveling with an under 5 LB machine.
Here is the original description:
Product: ThinkPad T43p 2687-D5U [change]
Operating system: Windows XP [change]
Original description: P M 760(2GHz), 1GB RAM, 80GB 5400rpm HD, 15in 1600x1200 LCD, 128MB ATI FireGL V3200 CDRW/DVDRW (NOW HAS CDRW/DVD), IBM 802.11abg wireless, Bluetooth/Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, Fingerprint reader, 9c Li-Ion, WinXP Pro.
I can make upgrades or downgrades depending on what you can bring to the deal, including replace 9 with 6 cell battery, replace the 80 with a 60 or 120 GB Fujitsu drive (all are 100% T43 compatible), replace the CDRW/DVD with DVDRW optical, and/or up RAM to 2GB.
Cosmetically, it is near excellent condition. Functionally, it is near perfect.
You can email me for details, or to suggest a trade, at mpcook@anactics.com.
