I may be interested in this one: R40 - has bios password $100 - complete system 9/10 condition;
What is the TYPE/MODEL and what is included in that price (RAM, drive(s), covers, etc.)?

What is the type number of the G40(s)? Does the display work on one and not the other, or are both displays bad? And what is included, like RBS asked above for the R40?

both are 2388-JU2
both missing a few keys on the keyboard each.
I think track pads are quite worn.
Overall, systems are free of cracks or any damage. clean cosmetically.
both missing cd rom's
I can't power them on at present, ac adapter is awol....but I will update you monday at the latest.
one display works, other is faint. (likely the inverter)

You must have misread the G40 type number. Probably 2388-JU2.

Please PM me more info on that A31p, and I may take it off your hands. Interested in model # and screen condition to begin with, all details appreciated.
TIA.

Pity, I don't like 15" XGA. I'll leave it for someone else.

A31P is in great condition. Screen and all exterior are mint.
It may have an inverter problem though.
last time I booted it up, it was fine, but would not load the OS. Possibly memory error, or bad XP media cd.
model is 2652-D4U
everything is present
512 ram
10/10 condition, absolutely mint.

According to IBM, that's an A31 and not A31p...
Product: ThinkPad A31 2652-D4U [change]
Operating system: All [change]
Original description: P4-M 1.6GHz (512KB), 256MB RAM, 40.0GB HDD, 15.0 SXGA+(1400x1050) TFT LCD, 8x4x24x/8x CD-RW/DVD, Modem(CDC), Ethernet(CDC), TV out, Li-Ion battery, Win2000
While this model features a high-resolution screen, it's not an IPS one, so I'm out of the ball park...
Best of luck with the sale.
