WTB: Palmrest for T43, preferably with fingerprint reader

#1 Post by pcdj » Sat Oct 17, 2009 5:11 am

I'm looking to buy a replacement palm rest for my T43 as i've somehow managed to snap the thin plastic between the track pad at the two buttons at the edge of the laptop.

Ideally located in the UK to save on postage. One with a fingerprint reader would be preferred, although palm rests without will be considered.

Thanks.

14" I presume?

Does the cosmetic issue really justify spending money on a whole new palmrest (especially the pricy ones with the FPR?)

Sorry, yes it's a 14".

I've seen them going on ebay for under £10 in the past. I believe I was even lucky enough to pick up my one with the FPR for about £15. It's not an aesthetic issue - it doesn't want to sit flush with the trackpad but is sticking upwards and conseqently catching on my wrist as I use the trackpoint.
