Hey everyone. I recently bought a T42p 14" from a forum member, but unfortunately my computing needs exceed the machine (I need a larger hard drive, and use 64-bit applications regularly).

So I'm looking for a T60, 14" screen size. Dedicated graphics and good battery condition. I'll look at T61's and p models but I'm not trying to spend a huge amount of money (college student).

I'm willing to trade my T42p and throw some cash on top...if you feel like downgrading a little. It comes with a mini-dock and port replicator:

It depends. I'll say $500 max for fun, but hopefully not that much.

There is no grey area here it is spelled out clearly, you bury legitimate posts when you start threads like this.

Are you talking to me? I asked because he didn't give a price indicator in his post, just that he didn't have much money to spend. I wasn't trying to haggle with him, in general with a WTB thread, someone gives a range of what they want to spend. It helps sellers know what machine they are looking for so they can recommend the right machine.

First: that is FOR SALE guidelines. There is nothing in my thread pertaining to ANYTHING for sale. It's a very simple post.

Second: There is NOTHING wrong with my WTB ad. I didn't post my price range for PURCHASING another thinkpad, not buying one. Sparta simply asked what my range was and so I told him.

I don't see anything wrong with what has transpired so far in this thread. @themightyquinn, I have removed some expletives from your post that were not called for.
