This one is taking up space, and I know for a fact that I'll never get to it...

the bottom line:

The machine has maxed-out basic specs with 1.2 Pentium 3M CPU, SXGA+ LCD and integrated wireless. Very good physical condition. Read below on the issues that need to be addressed.

the issue (bad stuff):

Out of the blue, the sound chip will go haywire and start raising the volume/beeping until it reaches the point of being unbearably loud. This happens with any OS, as well with hard drive pulled out, so you are looking at a hardware problem. I have no time and/or desire to try and remedy this issue. LCD has a couple of pressure marks, but is otherwise in very good shape.

the bright side:

This is a very pretty unit. Keyboard and palmrest are in almost new condition, showing no use, pretty amazing altogether. SXGA+ LCD is insanely bright by T23 standards. Lid is in very good condition with not much wear. If you can resolve the issue at hand, you'll be a happy owner of an ultimate T23 FrankenPad.

what is included:

Barebone machine with no drives or AC adapter. All covers are present and in good shape. Battery holds a charge, but is not guaranteed beyond that. 256MB RAM for testing purposes. No COA.

Being sold "as-is" for parts/repair. I shall NOT accept returns on this one.

Asking $75 plus reasonable shipping, or will trade for a couple of 40GB or larger PATA 9.5mm (2.5") laptop drives.
