FS/FT/PIF: Old school Sony Mavica FD-75 Camera

So, while cleaning up the place my girlfriend and I found her old (and I mean old) digital camera. I checked ebay and saw a few that looked identical / similar and were getting bids. My guess is that it might make a good camera for a younger kid or something since the interface is so simple and it's easy to keep a grip on and, since it's still around and fully functional, pretty rugged.

Here's a link to give you an idea of what I'm talking about:

Neither of our computers has a floppy drive at all anymore but from what I see on the forum there's a group of people floating around here that have older thinkpads that might be able to actually pull data off these guys.

Since I have no idea if anyone is interested in the little guy, feel free to consider this a poll of interest and let me know what your thoughts are or any cool projects that might be suitable for the camera.

The one I have is working fine and every component/case/LCD seems to be in very good / excellent condition and would include a battery (that seems to be holding a charge pretty well, but no extensive testing has been done) and working charger. I think I threw the books away just a few hours ago, so that's probably a lost cause.

Anyway, anyone interested in this guy? I have a box of about 10+ multicolor floppies I'll throw in too, I think I can spare them. *wink*

Thanks for looking
D

ps - Oh, and I guess to keep the mods happy I'll put a price on here of $20.00, but that may or may not include shipping, and I may just ship it to someone for free if they tell me they have a good, interesting use for it. Money's tight for me now but I've benefited from the Marketplace here in the past and wouldn't mind paying it forward a bit.

Mods let me know if I've ran afoul of the rules here in any way shape or form.
