Hi,
I'm interested in either selling (see below) or trading my ThinkPad X200s for another X or T series.
The specs are as follows:
SU9300 ultra-low-voltage CPU (much harder to find than the LV models)
1440x900 LED backlit screen
60GB SATA HD
2GB RAM (upgradeable to 4GB for 20GBP or depending on trade)
The machine was purchased in Sept. '09, (the warranty starts Sept 13th IIRC) and is in near-mint condition.
Trading
Basically, I'm interested in trading the machine for any one of the following (in order of preference):
- X301
- T400s
- X200
- X300
- T400 (offer details negotiable depending on config.)
- T61p (offer details negotiable depending on config.)
- T60p (offer details negotiable depending on config.)
- T61 (probably with cash, depends on specs/condition)
- T60 (probably with cash, depends on specs/condition)
- T43p (with cash, amount depends on condition)
... and, of course, anything not on the list (or any variation on the above) that you think would strike my fancy. I'm open to reasonable offers, so if you've got something that sounds like a trade I might be interested in, drop me a PM and we'll see.
If you're interested in trading, let me know. I spend my time in both the US and the UK, so I'm open to trades in both countries.
Selling
Don't have anything on the list above? No worries -- I am selling the machine for 679GBP shipped (negotiable.)
This is an insane price, considering that Lenovo's starting price for the X200s is > 1000 GBP -- and that's for a model with a lower-res, non-LED screen and a more battery-hungry CPU. When last I checked, this configuration wasn't even available to UK buyers!
Thanks,
Rob
Edit: edited subject to reflect current location and openness to trade for other X/T-series models.
Edit 2: price drop
Edit 4: I've started using the machine as my primary laptop now. I tend to take exceptionally good care of my laptops, and I am still willing to trade/sell it -- but I figured I should disclose this to any prospective buyers/traders. I will be happy to supply updated pictures should the physical condition of the machine change in any way.
