I purchased this used about 6 months ago and upgraded the RAM to a 2GB DIMM, leaving one slot empty for upgrading. The original 80GB hard drive was removed and upgraded to a 160GB 5400rpm Hitachi hard drive. The 6-cell battery holds about 88% of its original full charge.
It has Windows Vista Ultimate freshly installed and activated along with all Microsoft updates and essential IBM drivers and utilities (no recovery partition available). WinVista Ultimate COA is on the bottom (started to peel, so I clear-taped it). It has some light scratches on the top. The WXGA LCD screen is very bright and displays great. The palmrest and keyboard look brand new.
This Thinkpad is clean and in great condition, but is not perfect. There is a crack on the bottom near the headphone port and two hairline fractures on the bottom by the optical drive. I also noticed some scuffs on the side and a noticeable gap between the base and the LCD cover when it's closed (last pic). I bought this with these deficiencies and I take care of my laptops. These may be an issue for some, but it wasn't too bad for me. And I have never had any problems for the 6 months I've owned it. It even traveled with me to Canada.

Asking $425 shipped and insured. I sell quite a bit on ebay using the same name as my forum name here. I have also sold 3 laptops on this forum already. Feel free to PM.
