I just purchased on ebay an X60/61 UltraBase (42W3107) and missed the fact it doesn't include an optical drive So now looking for what I think is called Slimline DVD-CDRW Drive to complete the X6 UltraBase.

T4x drives work should as well as T6x ones. If you have a T4x machine, you might want to give it a try.

Thank you 91011 for info on where to find a good price on the X6 CD/DVD Drive -- and another Big Thanks to virge for the T4 CD/DVD Drive info -- I sure didn't know I could use something I already have -- I currently have an offer in on an X6 CD/DVD Drive -- if it's accepted, that's great -- I will have what I need at a good price -- If offer is declined, then I may not have to purchase a new CD/DVD Drive -- will try out my T41 hardware --
