FS: Hitachi 80Gb/ 7200rpm EIDE (Parallel) Hard Drive

The model is Hitachi HTS721080G9AT00 This 80Gb/7200rpm, with 8Mb Cache drive has had a year of service in my personal T42p before it was pulled when I moved on to a different machine, therefore the hours on it are going to be pretty low compared to a "industry" used drive. It's been cleared of data and tested to be working fine. The price will the $65 (firm) shipped to anywhere CONUS via USPS Priority.

So, if you've been trying to find one of these rare out of production drives, then here's your chance to get one. PM with any questions. I can also provide a picture if you want one. Just send the email address where you want it to go.

schen, are you positive on the model number? Google doesn't find HTS72100G9T00. Also, is it an IBM FRU...might work in a T43 without a 2010 error if it is.

NO I'm not, since I mistyped it like an idiot! The actual model number is HTS721080G9AT00, so you should be able to find that one! It doesn't have an IBM FRU so it might still throw the 2010 error, although I could put it in my wife's R52 and check if you'd like. I'm assuming that if the R52 doesn't complain then the T43 should be fine as well.
