Final edit: Both the X61s and T60p Frankenpads have been sold to a forum member, and I have found the perfect T400 for me. Thanks for your interest!

Bump. The X61s is still for sale, but the T60p has been sold.
I'm still considering offers for a T400, but may end up biting the bullet and ordering a T410.

I did just that a few days ago. Now is a great time with the 15% off coupon. I got one loaded with nearly every option for $1250 before tax.
