I have a T30 torn apart on my workbench in an effort to teach myself about laptop repair. I am looking for a defunct T30 to strip for parts. I can not devote much money to this project as my wife feels I have too many projects or "money pits" in the works. Anyway, if you have one that you are interested in parting with let me know. Thanks.

I don't have a complete T30, but I do have a bunch of parts that I need to get rid of. See this post:

If you see anything (or everything) you want, make an offer. I'll let most parts go pretty cheap.

Thanks Neil, I went through your parts...so to speak...and there was nothing that I know of that I need. I will review the list again as I rebuild. I am still looking for a whole but non functioning T30. Anyone?

I have one that looks complete (minus the battery, probably the ram) it says red LCD on the cover. Would that work?
$20.00 I give you a good battery

You have a complete T30 minus RAM and Battery for $20. That sounds good. Who pays for shipping? Thanks.
Bob
Ps. I am unsure what you mean by "it says red LCD on the cover". Do you mean someone wrote that on the outside of the case?

it's on a sticker, I would ask you pay shipping. it will fit in a flat rate USPS box, unfortunately until I can get USPS to deliver for free on cheap stuff I just can't eat it, I'm sure i paid $35.00 for the machine just trying to clean out some older stuff.

I just wanted to say thanks. I received the T30, added HDD, RAM, Battery and CD/DVD (all of which I had in stock) and have a fully functional unit.

One other thing, what I think it said on the sticker (and I am a Nurse used to deciphering scribble) on the cover was "Real bad Video".

I don't understand it because as far as I can see nothing is wrong with the video but...
