LF: power connectors

#1 Post by truk » Mon Feb 15, 2010 8:42 am

My output cable no longer connects reliably, and needs to be in a certain position to work (no problem with other adapter, bad cord confirmed.) I don't really need any of the heads or the input cable, although I wouldn't turn them down. Budget is tight, but I'll be happy as long as it works.-Got one off ebay, still could use a splitter tip or tips that it didn't come with originally (would like a USB mini-a and may be interested in others, lemme know what you've got.)

If anyone has a tip to go to a Dell Studio 15 (or most newer Dell laptops), I'm looking for one of those too. I could probably use both t400 style power connectors (m&f) and some connectors for the Dell (f only.)

I'm also interested in a t4x port replicator if I can find one cheap enough. It's for a project, so I don't really want to pay too much for something I'm gonna likely tear apart. (I can get one for $15 shipped on eBay, so I'd need it equal to or cheaper than that. - Possibly a sale here too.

I pay via paypal, so keep that in mind.

Thanks!
Truk

ok, sorry too tired to look up that part number but I have several T40 car adapters, do you want the one that does home and car or just car? and I have any T4x style port rep/dock you want.

It's the newer style one for home and car, the slim adapter. That's for my t400 actually. I'm looking for a t4x port replicator (to go in the car) because a dock will crash the computer if it's unplugged while the computer is docked and powered on. I'm not sure if the port replicator would have that problem, but I'm hoping, since it's low power, that it won't. I'd also be interested in a car adapter for the t4x (it's really just a mobo used in a car-pc). How much are you looking for?

The small port rep I assume is what you're looking for? $10.00 for a T40 car adapter? so $25.00 for both shipped?
I don't have the new style slim adapter. I just sold my X60 and don't take my T61p out of the house.
