I have recovery disks for both the T41 and T30 Thinkpads. Both sets were used once only and are in pristine condition.

What model T41 is the recovery disks for? I have a 2373. I am also looking for recovry disks for my T43 which is a 1872.

It states on the disks that it covers Types 1829 1830 31, 32, 33, 36.
But it will restore many others too. You would likely have to update video driver from Lenovo.
I restored an X32 with T41 disks, no problem. So I think it would be the same with the T43.

Types 1829 etc. belong to R50/p and R51 line of ThinkPads, not to T41 but there is really next to no difference between the two. They will restore a T40/41/42 with no problems.

These will NOT work well on a T43 since it uses a different HAL from the previous ThinkPads, including all the other T4x units.

Sorry I did not put it very well. The Disks are for ALL T41 plus R41 of the Types 1829 1830 31, 32, 33, 36
If George says they wont do a T43 I accept that but they did the X32 no problem.

That is correct. These disks can be used on absolutely ANY T4x/R5x apart from T43/p and R52. Without any doubt, they will work very well on X31/32 as well. Not to mention R40 in its PM guise.
