From the back of the closet....
Two 365XD models for sale, plus Win95 on diskettes.
First model is 2625-DEF: Pentium 120, 72 Mb memory (8 + 64), 5 Gb HD, 10 inch 800 x 600 TFT screen, internal CD-ROM drive (either 4x or 6x), external 3.5 floppy drive, PCMCIA token-ring ethernet card, correct IBM battery (although it only holds a 2-minute charge) and an IBM A/C adapter. Includes Win95 on diskettes and COA. Machine has DOS 6.22 and XtreeGold loaded as well. Keyboard has part of the "N" letter missing, but otherwise all keys are fully lettered and functional. This machine has all the port covers, and is in very nice condition. There is a slight pressure mark on the right side of the screen which shows up at a certain viewing angle. I tried to get it to show in the photo, but it was hard to do.
Second model is 2625-FE9: Pentium 133, 40 Mb memory (8 + 32), 11 inch DSTN screen, no hard drive, no CD-ROM drive, no floppy drive, no battery, and no A/C adapter. It was to be used as a parts machine or as a backup, but it was never needed. Posts properly, and can enter and change parameters through the BIOS setup. Keyboard is better on this machine than the DEF model, and if you are particular I suppose you could interchange them. The screen-shot shows the correct indication that there is no operating system present.
No BIOS passwords set on either machine.
If you love the distinct clickety-click of these keyboards, you'll be in seventh heaven...I didn't realize how loud these were until I fired them up and played around on them again. At one point in time, this machine was my test-bed for various DOS and OS/2 batch files.
I'm going to say $60 U.S. plus shipping for everything listed. Paypal accepted, or if you're Canadian, you can pay through through email money transfer (Interac). Will ship worldwide, but anything other than Canada/U.S. could get expensive and may take awhile to reach you...my last shipment to the far east took six weeks to arrive through regular parcel post.
Peruse the linked photos and feel quite free to make an offer... I would much rather see them go to a forum member who would appreciate them as a part of IBM's early notebook history than sell them through eBay.
Regards.

If you had a Cyrex CPU model I'd buy it just to say I own the worst Thinkpad ever made LOL (want to say that was the first Thinkpad IBM only gave a 1 year warranty on) seriously, I may grab one depending on if I have one or not. I'm really not sure I have to check.
Either way good luck with your sale.

Hey! Somebody can get it for historic purposes. The ThinkPad 365 was the model of laptop computer that Robert Hanssen used when he worked for the FBI and doing the spying for the KGB. Although the actual sub-model was the 365E vs. the XD version, it'll probably be close enough. Purportedly the computer that he typed out his famous resignatoin letter to his KGB handlers.
I know....VERY NERDY, but fun all the same.
