WTT: 14" SXGA+ T60 for your 15" XGA/WXGA+ T60/R60 (DONE!)

*** On Hold***

This offer is open to established US forum members only. I'm sorry, but shipping is expensive and swaps are a bit risky.

I have a 14" SXGA+ that was intended to go to an older family member, but its a little hard on the eyes. As the title states, I'm looking to swap for a 15" model. Either standard or widescreen is fine.

What I have:
ThinkPad T60 2008-VRQ
Original description: Based on 2008-CTO: T2400(1.83GHz), 1GB RAM, 100GB 7200rpm HD, 14.1in 1400x1050 LCD, 128MB ATI Radeon X1400, CDRW/DVDRW, Intel 802.11abg wireless, Bluetooth/Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, Fingerprint reader, 6c Li-Ion batt, WinXP Pro

We can retain our own RAM, drives, batteries, etc. if they are compatible. Machine is in good to excellent condition. Pictures available. We can talk about supplemental cash if necessary. Intel graphics or lack of BT and Fingerprint reader are non-issues (i.e. I don't consider it a downgrade. ) Please send PM any suggestions.

Trade preferred, but as a FS price per forum rules: $300 shipped within continental US. Other locations, PM.

Why not put in a 14" XGA LCD and sell the SXGA+ ?
Or keep the SXGA+ LCD for if/when you get it back?
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)

I can offer you a 15" XGA T60 as a swap. Swapping just the body is fine (if you're using two sticks of RAM or don't care about the RAM configuration, then we can leave the memory alone). It's in very good condition. I will take pictures for you, if you'd like to proceed.

Product: ThinkPad T60 2623-DAU
Original description: T2400(1.83GHz), 512MB RAM --> now 1GB (2 x 512MB sticks), 80GB 5400rpm HD,

@RBS -- Thanks for the suggestion. I thought about that, but I would have to locate an XGA screen, and in the end, it's still 14". My parent's eyes are probably going to get worse and a 15" will save having to do another swap down the road. :wink:

@underclocker-- Thank you! That's the machine I was looking for! :bow:
