Excuse my ignorance, but does this work for regular models (i.e. my X60s) or only for tablets?

do you know if it is possible to remove the plastic cover?
if it is only bonded on the metal-border of the display would be fine.
can you tell me if there is a fru on the panel and which fru.

what will be the shipping costs to germany?

thanks
bernhard

If by "plastic cover" you mean the writing surface on a -100 panel (not the bonded writing surface of a -101 panel), yes it takes about 1 minute to remove it.

Just edge a thin plastic knife into the adhesive foam that secures the writing surface to the panel, and work your way around the edge.
