I recently purchased a T60 with 1GB (2x512MB). I purchased a 4GB (2x2GB) Centon memory upgrade kit, unaware of the 3GB chipset limitation. I installed one of the 2GB and purchased an additional 1GB, so now I'm at the 3GB max.

My lack of knowledge is your gain. I have 100% feedback on eBbay.
