LF: 1 GB DDR

#1 Post by qviri » Thu Mar 11, 2010 7:39 pm

Looks like I'll be using the X31 as primary for a little while longer, and I feel like I owe it an upgrade given how impressively it's coped with whatever I've thrown at it so far.

How much does a 1 GB stick of DDR go for these days? Anyone have any they're looking to sell?

Thanks.

US$30 or so is the going rate for it online these days. Just bought a couple fo 1GB sticks for my x31 last week. G-Skill from Newegg. FWIW, ran a buttload of Memtest 86 and passed with flying colors. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820231141

BTW, mine undervolts real nicely using NHC. Idles around 13W with display on, mid 20's under load. CPU fan rarely ever comes on under load. CPU maxes out in the mid 50c range.
