WTB: a few "soft rim" style trackpoint caps

#1 Post by dyne » Fri Mar 26, 2010 2:14 pm

Like the title says, I'm looking to buy some "soft rim" style caps. I bought some "authentic" ones on ebay a while back that turned out to be crappy knock-offs, so I thought I'd see if anyone here could sell me some genuine ones before I try ebay again.

Garbage, .20c each: ebay 220540580091 soft rim, slippery

Real, .333c each cap, one of each kind "OR Please tell us any of the three Caps you want by email or Paypal payment note." 320498710949
I can't verify they can really give you three of the same kind like they say, but they sent me authentic trackpoint caps 3/$1.

Real, .333-.367(varies) 260561210109 mix of 3 kinds, so you have to pay 1$ per soft rim, but they are authentic, far as I can tell.

Those are buyitnow. There may be auctions where you can buy for less than above if you want to spend a little time :)

Even better. :)

Post might still help others, even looking only for regular dome (cat's tongue). Assuming the above sellers stick around.

Actually, all the trackpoints I've bought on ebay have been real, far as I can tell, except the ones where the picture shows that they are fake from my last post. Thought I'd try them out in case I liked them, maybe even better than the real ones, but no such luck.

Same here. Have an original, brand new soft dome that I want to trade for a new original soft rim if anyone has it.
These caps are very durable so it doesn't make sense to buy in bulk and lose them somewhere.
