Not long ago I got a stick for $33ish shipped from Tiger Direct, checked and the price has gone up by $20, sorry.
You could also buy used ebay of course.
Sometimes you can find deals via sites like slickdeals.net or fatwallet.com or anandtech.com doing a quick search for sodimm in the "hot deals" forum, or their top page.
