[SOLD] FS: waterfield cargo bag, brand new (pic)

#1 Post by flyingsherpa » Wed Apr 14, 2010 6:15 pm

Cardinal leather flap with paragliding buckle. Mint condition. I have literally never taken it out of the house. I got it a few months ago and am amazed at the design and quality, but after loading it up a few times, I realized that I am really only a backpack guy. I don't like the one-shoulder weight distribution of courier-type bags.

Check their site for what size laptop you can fit in. Note: sfbags recommends you use a laptop sleeve with this bag, which they size for numerous laptops and sell separately. I am selling just the bag. Currently goes for $226 shipped new from sfbags, I'm asking $140 shipped in the US.

I have 100% positive feedback on ebay under the same username. Paypal preferred.

Per Waterfield's website, these are available in small, medium and large. What size is the one that you're selling?

Thanks!

What kind of machine did you use with this bag?

Do you have a photo of the internal main compartment where a laptop would go?

Even though sleeves are recommended would this unit work well with an X61s with 8 cell and no sleeve?

Thanks.

I got this for my x60s. It fits great in there with the sleeve, but I prefer using my backpack (with sleeve). I just tried it with an 8-cell without the sleeve, see pics:

It fits fine, but you'd need to be careful setting the bag down on a hard surface as there is no padding on the bottom. Actually there's no padding on the sides either. So it would work for your x61s, but it's not as well protected as it would be with a sleeve on it. It's really your call on whether or not that's acceptable.

EDIT : bag is no longer available
