For sale: Asking $800.
Thinkpad X61 Tablet
7764-CTO L3AAE0B
Things included in the sale:
- ultrabase, no key, has a UJ842 DVD drive in there.
- the original box, and stuff inside it
- the computer..
According to the box:
8 Cell Li+ battery (dead) I won't include this unless you absolutely want it. It just adds to the weight of the box.
Bluetooth PAN
65W AC Adapter
12.1" WVA SXGA+ TFT
Integrated fingerprint reader
320GB 7200rpm drive (originally 120GB, 5400rpm)
En us keyboard
3GB ram (originally 1GB)
Intel Core 2 Duo L7500 (1.6GHz)
TP 11a/b/g MOW
Windows Vista COA (WinXP recovery CDs, comes with WinXP recovered on the machine)
So what's bad about the machine?
The battery just died suddenly after 255 cycles. I tested my friend's battery and it works perfectly.
Keyboard is slightly worn (some mildly shiny keycaps)
There seems to be a small scratch in the right side of the screen somewhere that you can feel with your finger if you go scratching the screen for it, but I can't see it (maybe you can, if you tilt it at the right angle to some bright lights). Actually, it's so minor, you probably wouldn't know it was there if I didn't say it
There is a small nick in the top lid, and the bottom case is fairly worn from use (i'd give it 6/10.. maybe 7/10).
The screen backlight when dimmed to the lowest setting, shows some uneven backlight (Now I'm probably nitpicking, coming from a LED backlit MacBook Pro...) but it definitely goes away when the brightness is turned up to something reasonable.
Overall condition-wise I'd give it a 7/10.
At least the hinge is tight
