As long as Lenovo's policy on outlet machines (even those sold as "new") remains "non-extendable 1-year warranties", I would not buy a laptop through there, even if I could. Batteries and accessories - sure, sometimes you find great deals. But I just cannot fathom having less than 3 years on my precious Thinkpads. DELL gives 3 year warranties even on refurbished outlet machines. Lenovo's policy is unacceptable to me.

I agree, I stopped making 'large' purchases there as well. I picked up an S10 there for $200 or so, but I didn't really care about warranty at that price.
