As much as I don't want to part with it, finances require me to part with the T43p I recently upgraded from. This machine has been great for me, and I expect it should be great for it's next owner!
I'm posting it here at $200, offers welcome. Shipping not included in price. I would prefer to ship UPS as I work @Staples, so I can just send it out when I go to work
Specs:
Intel Centrino (Pentium M) 2.2Ghz Processor
2GB DDR2 RAM
80GB PATA HDD
802.11b/g Wireless
9-Cell Battery (one installed has 268 cycles, still works well IMO, including older one as well, no idea on cycle count, but probably lasts 40min or so.
15" UXGA LCD, 1600x1200 max resolution.
Including spare battery as I stated above, no idea on actual condition of the spare other then that it's the battery I replaced with the current one. I'm also including the Type 2878 Dock that I got with it that works with T30,R50,X30,R40,A30, & T4x series Thinkpads.
History:
I bought this from an employee at Intel here in Fort Collins, CO who bought the unit from Intel when they retired it from their fleet. They ended up giving him a new one so he sold this to me in near-mint condition. The dock was new, sealed in box when I got it. I've had it for a couple years since then, and it is definitely not near-mint anymore. It shows it's wear, and does have some unfortunate gray spots on the display. The pictures I have below try to depict this, but I couldn't get a good shot. The spots are mostly concentrated in the bottom middle/right of the screen, though there are a couple to the right about mid-height on the display. That's really the biggest issue with this machine. The fan is noisy, but my understanding is that this is typical for the T43p's.
Software:
The original XP Pro OEM key is intact on the bottom of the laptop. I do not have the OEM discs for this machine.
The machine currently has a clean install of Windows 7 Home Premium and Office 2007 Enterprise. These are licenses I've obtained through my MS Technet subscription, so they are legit keys. The install discs for both will be included, they are burned from the ISOs provided from Technet. I also loaded MS Security Essentials and Chrome, so it's pretty much good to go. I don't consider this part of the pricing, just thought it would be nice to include with the machine. Use it or don't, it's up to you
More then happy to answer any questions you may have.
