Bought this also last weekend but was just gifted with a 1TB External backup drive and as such I have no real need for this. It will fit in the T4x's slim ultra bay and allow you to put in a SATA hdd for storage.
It's Genuine IBM Thinkpad stuff - not some 3rd party accessory.
Asking what I paid for it - $25 Shipped USPS First Class.
